Chris Lyon is a songwriter from Vermont, USA. He grew up in Northeast Pennsylvania and moved to Vermont at 20 in search of bandmates and bigger mountains. He spent the better half of twenty years fronting the bluegrass band Mud City Ramblers. While the years spent playing with the Ramblers were exciting to say the least, Chris never really felt that bluegrass resonated strongly with his writing. So 2021 seemed a suitable time to embark on a new musical adventure. So began the Chris Lyon Band. With a head and heart full of new songs the light in the studio was hardly ever off.
Their music could be described as rock, Americana, with maybe just a splash of country.
